This morning Phillip and I were blessed with the opportunity to go into Karuma with the empowerment team. You just cannot imagine the challenges the people of this community face every single day. The chaos and the conditions are unthinkable by our western standards. To them, it's all they have ever known. But like us, they have families, and family's have needs. Often these ladies turn to resources that are beneath their dignity just so their children can have food.
Through Gods powerful hand, teaching these dear people a trade gives them not only an opportunity to provide for their families, but allows them to understand that Gods love can and will sustain them.
