Morning Worship

In the airport, we sang, "Guide Me O Thou Great Jehovah", "The Doxology" and "He Leadeth Me" as Gary led us in Psalm 103:1-5. He taught us from the story of God leading the Israelites from Egypt to and thru the Red Sea. We too will be led by God this week possibly into tight spots, and we seek to see and follow where he would lead us that we too might see His mighty hand at work.

Meet "Elsa" the turkey.  Former Rwanda team member(2012/2013), Allison Coates, teaches Kindergarten. Her  classroom made sock puppets for the team to use in Rwanda this year. They will be following Elsa's journey through Rwanda, therefore you will be seeing several pictures of Elsa throughout the blog!

Packing & Commissioning

Yesterday, we had our final meeting where we packed all the supplies and went over last-minute details. After packing we were commissioned by IPC!!!

Rwanda 2014 Update

The IPC Rwanda team is leaving bright and early Saturday morning!

Rwanda 2014

Our final short-term mission trip to Rwanda is coming up -- March 29 - April 7, 2014.

Pray for God's Kingdom to grow as a result of this trip, both in Rwanda and at home in Memphis.
Pray for preparation for the trip both on our end and in Rwanda.
Pray for provision as we gather the supplies needed for the trip.
Pray for protection as we prepare to travel and as we are traveling.

You can participate in corporate prayer for the trip each Wednesday night from 6 - 6:30 pm in the IPC Chapel.

Also please consider attending our commissioning ceremony in the IPC Fellowship Hall on March 26th at 6:15 pm.
